Host a Free Cognitive Assessment Event in Your Community
Bring Early Detection to Your Community
Early detection of Alzheimer’s and related dementias starts locally. If you’re a senior center, nonprofit, housing site, healthcare organization serving older adults, public library, or a faith-based group in Hudson or Bergen County, you can host a free memory screening event through Act Now Foundation’s Alzheimer’s Early Detection Project.
Our cognitive assessments help identify early signs of Alzheimer’s and related dementias, giving individuals the opportunity to plan ahead and access care early.

Why Early Detection Matters
Early identification of Alzheimer’s and related dementias allows individuals and families to:

Access medical treatment that may slow progression

Make legal, financial, and care plans while cognitively able
-
Maintain connections with family and community
-
Reduce the risk of emergency situations or miscommunication
Medicare recommends memory screenings every year for adults 65+.
